Uptick of $30m in DoorDash’s sales and marketing spend in 2023

A summary of key highlights from DoorDash’s 2023 earnings report released in February 2024.

Sales and marketing investment by DoorDash, one of the largest online food delivery and grocery aggregator platforms in the US, saw an uptick in 2023 compared to the previous year. Ravi Inukonda, Chief Financial Officer for the company , chalked the uptick to the increased cost of acquiring more delivery workers in order to fulfill the rising volume of orders.
