UK daily radio consumption levels hold firm

An overview of radio media consumption data from GWI.

The rise of on-demand audio formats like music streaming and podcasts does not appear to have diminished UK consumers’ appetite for live radio.

According to GWI, British adults are forecast to listen to an average of 78 minutes of radio content each day in 2024 – up from 71 minutes in 2015. That figure rises to an average of 82 daily minutes for listeners aged 25-34.
