Twitch viewers fell by 11% in March

An overview of Twitch's monthly viewers.

The rapid growth in Twitch viewers seen in 2020 and much of 2021 has since slowed and stabilised, according to the latest data from TwitchTracker.

The online video platform had an average of 2.60m viewers in March 2022, a decline of 11.2% from the same month in the previous year (2.93m). This is also down 11.9% from the 2.96m registered in February 2022.

Although Twitch recorded double-digit year-on-year growth every month between March 2020 and October 2021, this has now slowed – the number of viewers fell marginally in December 2021 and January 2022 and steeply in March...
