Topgolf: The art of motion

Topgolf, a global sports and entertainment community, launched a campaign in China to position itself as the top entertainment venue, associate the brand to be synonymous with Shanghai, and customise a quirky and unique way to tap into consumer's preference to enjoy nightlife.

Introduction

Topgolf Entertainment Group is a technology-enabled global sports and entertainment community that connects fans in a meaningful way through technology, competitive entertainment, and food and beverage services. Topgolf decided to enter China in 2021 with its first urban indoor experiential space at Central Plaza in Shanghai - creating a new sports entertainment scene in China covering more than 2,700 square meters. Topgolf engaged The Orangeblowfish to provide creative consulting and design services so that the space would be culturally relevant whilst keeping a contemporary focus. Our target audience was mainly Gen Z and all entertainment advocates in Shanghai.
