Over one billion users aged 18 and above could be reached on TikTok in early July 2022, according to a digital statistics and trends analysis by Kepios, with data sourced directly from TikTok’s own tools and resources. 

Gen Z TikTok users are most likely to be female, as 23% of the TikTok ad audience aged 18 to 24 are female, with the overall audience skewing towards female consumers across all 18-plus age groups. Based on TikTok’s own advertising audience data, 44% of TikTok’s global users are estimated to be male.
