TikTok dominates social platform consumption among US teens

Findings from the latest Piper Sandler ‘Taking Stock with Teens’ survey.

TikTok has increased its dominance among US teens, with 38% of that audience rating the ByteDance-owned app as their top social media platform. 

According to the latest edition of Piper Sandler’s semi-annual Taking Stock With Teens survey, TikTok has improved its rating by 80 basis points (bps) from the previous survey in Spring 2023. Snapchat was ranked in second place (28%), followed by Instagram (23%).
