Three-quarters of US holiday shoppers expect to buy most gifts online

Over 75% of holiday shoppers in the US expect to buy a majority of their gifts online in 2023, a study has found.

Seventy-seven percent of US consumers expect to undertake a majority of their shopping for gifts online in 2023.

This insight came from a survey of 1,000 holiday shoppers by performance marketing firm Tinuiti. More specifically, the analysis revealed that 9% of contributors predicted all of their holiday shopping would take place on digital, compared with just 6% saying brick-and-mortar stores would exclusively fulfill this purpose.
