An overview of the rise of social shopping trends during Q3 2022.

Shoppers are increasingly comfortable purchasing products directly from social media, according to a recent report from market analytics firm Jungle Scout. Spending on TikTok has risen the most, with the percentage of consumers likely to purchase products from the platform increasing by 13%, from 35% of TikTok users indicating willingness to purchase to 48% growing comfortable with the idea.

Gen Z are the group most likely to buy from this platform, as well as on Instagram and Twitter. They far eclipse older generations in purchases on these three sites, while millennials are more likely to buy from LinkedIn,...
