For some German citizens, 'social distancing' is nothing new - it's a normal part of life. People with type 2 inflammatory diseases like asthma and neurodermatitis often struggle to take part in routine social activities due to their condition. Loneliness and depression are common. But the very hidden nature of their struggle has kept it from the public consciousness for years.
