Uniomedia Communications: #WhyIGetVaccinated

Uniomedia, a European communications company, increase positive sentiment towards COVID vaccines in Hungary by organising the #WhyIGetVaccinated social media campaign.

The Hungarian population is traditionally antivaxx. According to KSH 01/2021, in early 2021 55% were against or unsure, and only 42% considered the jab vs. 70%in the US.

The government ordered vaccines from six different manufacturers, including Chinese and Russian ones and this caused political debates. The already risky situation became even worse: in the shadow of political debates, many people became unsure. While Hungary needed mass vaccination as fast as possible.
