September 19th 2017, 1:14pm: Tragedy struck. A 7.1 earthquake hit Mexico, destroying the homes and lives of thousands. To make matters worse, it happened on the 35th anniversary of the catastrophic Mexico City Earthquake, an event that killed more than 10,000 people.

Memories of the 1985 tragedy filled the air while citizens tried to reach their loved ones by phone, crowds struggled to free victims trapped under debris, and the streets filled with chaos. It was a terrifying deja-vu.
