Situation analysis

More than 3 million children in China under age 14 have autism, but due to extremely low rates of awareness about the disorder, a mere 1.3% of them - barely 39,000 children - are diagnosed and receive adequate treatment.

In 2017, Intel and Invision together developed a VR experience installation to help provide therapy to autistic children, allowing them to go through a series of multisensory exercises to improve their visual recognition and social interaction abilities.
