Genentech, a Biotechnology company, launched a podcast to engage current and potential Genentech employees and bring science to US audiences in a way it had never been done before.

Company Background

As the first biotechnology company, Genentech is an industry leader with an impressive history of firsts, stemming all the way back to 1976 when Genentech's founders, Herb Boyer and Bob Swanson, conceived the company over a friendly drink.

The monumental moment has since been memorialized through a bronze life-size sculpture displayed on Genentech's campus, serving as a permanent reminder of the enthusiasm and comradery necessary to make innovation happen.
