More than two years ago Brieana Rose (not her real name for privacy reasons) checked into Sydney's Norwest Private Hospital for a gynaecological cancer test.

Five weeks later, the hospital rang to tell her the shocking news that while she had been under general anaesthetic a theatre nurse had taken an explicit photo of her genitalia, later showing the image to other nurses.
