Roku's platform revenue, which includes advertising income, topped $2bn last year for the first time ever, according to the latest company data. However, growth slowed considerably through 2021 in part due to supply chain disruptions among key advertiser categories.
Platform revenue reached $704m in Q4 2021, an increase of 49.3% from the previous year. This is the second-slowest rate of growth ever reported, apart from the COVID-induced downturn in Q2 2020.
