This Road Safety Authority (Republic of Ireland) and Department of the Environment (Northern Ireland) campaign from 2002 aimed to raise the awareness generally of the number of pedestrians being killed and seriously injured on the roads, to make pedestrians and drivers more aware of their personal responsibility for avoiding road traffic collisions, and ultimately to reduce the number of pedestrian road deaths and serious injuries.
