Poor site performance is the number one concern among online shoppers

An overview of Coveo's Ecommerce Relevance Report for 2023.

Ninety-one percent of shoppers experience problems with online retailers, according to a report from Software as a Service (SaaS) engine Coveo. Among the most prevalent problems voiced by consumers, poor site performance and lack of findability were high on the list. Thirty-three percent of consumers surveyed said that they encounter poor site performance, and 32% experience a lack of findability. Twenty-seven percent of consumers report missing product information on e-commerce sites.

The Coveo report surveyed 4,000 adult shoppers across the US and the UK in January 2023.
