The Challenge

A 173-year-old company. Nearly 80,000 global colleagues. All united by one urgent mission: bring a vaccine to market to help mitigate the worst pandemic in 100 years. There were a lot of hurdles to get the vaccine to market. Research. Clinical trials. Manufacturing. Approvals. Distribution. At the end of 2020, Pfizer's dedication paid off: The company submitted for Emergency Use Approval for its mRNA COVID-19 vaccine.
