In 2019, more than 250 million people in China were reported to be experiencing hair loss, making up one out of every six people in the country.1

One of the most common causes of hair loss is the disease Androgenetic alopecia (AGA). But this is not a widely-known fact. While hair loss is a major topic of discussion in China, the majorities of people believe it is largely due to factors such as stress or lifestyle choices such as staying up late. Only 14 percent see hair loss as a disease.2
