Online to fuel growth

Last year was unusually poor for traditional media, but we think demand has almost stopped slipping (see Figure 1).
By our previous standards, as reported in January’s Adstats, this merits a national holiday. Not counting the internet, we think the other media face a 1% drop in revenue this year and nearer 0% next. So online is again funding most of the net growth in the bottom line - half a billion this year, £650 million next.
