Earlier this month Advertising Age published an intriguing headline: P&G Taking Its Marketing Back to the Store.Which begs the question: did it ever leave?
A chicken-or-egg conundrum that set Tummler a-pondering. Is AdAge's reported resurrection of instore marketing within Procter & Gamble's corporate bosom yet another case of reinventing the wheel? And has there ever been an age in which the wheel wasn't reinvented?
