O2 Slovakia: #BrowseResponsibly

O2, a mobile network, launched a campaign in Slovakia to raise awareness about the dark side of mobile data, surpass market benchmarks, maintain engagement and build brand perception.

Campaign highlights

  • As well as great memories and funny memes, people also use their mobile data to share hoaxes and fake news. During the pandemic, the dark side of modern technologies became ever more evident and O2 decided to help mitigate this.
  • The #BrowseResponsibly campaign was designed to teach people not to trust every piece of nonsense they see online.
  • It started with a viral deepfake video that broke the internet. It reached 2 million people in a country of 5.5 million.
  • The campaign website received more than 120,000 visits...
