New business models are also appearing, including "Over-The-Top" television services, such as Netflix or Hulu, which use a broadband connection rather than existing cable or satellite systems. Nielsen figures show 27% of people subscribing to Netflix and 11% to Hulu and using the services in different ways: Netflix users are more likely to watch films, while Hulu users prefer TV shows. In both cases, OTT video is not an alternative but an add-on to other services and a strong competitor to traditional TV networks....
