NHS South East London Integrated Care System, a public health body, drove COVID-19 vaccine take-up among young people in a multichannel behavioural science-led campaign.

Brief and objectives

There was a need to engage with young people (18-39 years old) to support south east London COVID-19 vaccination targets due in July 2021. NHS South East London ICS commissioned Lynn to launch a targeted, integrated data-driven campaign to drive behaviour change amongst young people in south east London. This campaign, which delivered big results in 4 weeks, continues to deliver life-saving impact in south east London today, with 10+ iterations commissioned (October 2022).

Business objective:

  • Initially, to improve vaccination take-up in young people from a baseline of 31.4% (18-29 year olds) and 54.9% (30-39 year olds)...
