Mental wellbeing at work: thriving, not just surviving
One-in-four experience a mental health problem at some point in their life with an annual cost of £35bn to business every year. With the workplace being somewhere many of us spend most of our time, it's important that employers recognise the vital part they have to play in supporting employee mental wellbeing. Even small changes can make huge differences in overall employee mental wellbeing, but many businesses don't know where to start. We realised that there was an absence of an academically rigorous, yet flexible, measure to help employers understand mental wellbeing. This spurred us on to develop our mental wellbeing audit to help employers listen to their employees and to give them relevant insight to help accelerate change.
