Samsung Galaxy J series is the market leader in the entry-level smartphone category. For the launch of J7 Pro in 2017, the goal is to strengthen Samsung's leadership position in the segment and increase volume growth.

With smartphone ownership booming at 72% penetration in urban areas, market players treat it as the main battlefield. Yet, there is a promising 53% smartphone penetration in rural areas, a market well-suited for entry-level smartphones.
