Objective
During Covid 2nd wave in 2021 automobile sector was one of the most impacted sectors that witnessed a steep decline in sales. Renault also saw a drop of nearly 30% in sales (15% in Urban and 45% Rural markets). A deep dive into the situation revealed a peculiar challenge with a few of the top performing rural markets of UP, Haryana and Tamil Nadu.
Renault's objective therefore was to find a way to curb the drop in sales.
