However, a big chunk of the population still lacks financial independence as they are victims of social barriers and biases.

"Meesho - an Indian-origin social commerce platform aimed to empower the women of today

Objective:

  • Drive social commerce by empowering the aspirational women of today.
  • Increase lead generation and transactions on Meesho.

Challenges:

  1. Stereotyping and community barriers was a big hurdle to break for tier 2 and tier 3 women audience
  2. Social commerce was a very new concept and hence onboarding users were going to be tough.
