Micron Technology: Turning the tide on Taiwan's tech talent shortage

Micron, a semiconductor manufacturing company, launched a campaign in Taiwan expand awareness of the brand among new college graduates (NCGs), maximise the brand's impressions, educate NCGs, establish its image as an employer of choice and increase clicks to its career page.

Taiwan has the largest "talent deficit" of any nation in the world*.

Six out of ten Taiwanese who leave the nation to work abroad are professionals. A skewed birth ratio and an aging society have also escalated the situation. That's not good.

In particular, in the fourth quarter of 2021, Taiwan's semiconductor industry faced its most serious talent shortage in seven years as it raced to pump up production to meet soaring demand.**
