In 1998, the Metropolitan Police set up a special initiative called “Trident", to help tackle gun crime in London's black community.

In 2005–06 a new trend emerged: Trident offenders and victims were getting younger and graduating to gun crime faster.

Research shows that teenagers are susceptible to gun crime's glamorous imagery.

OBJECTIVES
