The Americas has seen marketing budgets return to growth after 16 months in decline, according to WARC’s Global Marketing Index (GMI). Asia Pacific saw the quickest rate of decline (at an index of 35.7), while global and Europe marketing budgets also remain in decline.
Developed by WARC, the GMI is a monthly indicator of the state of the global marketing industry based on current conditions among practitioners. An index value above 50.0 indicates growth, while below 50.0 suggests a decline. Practitioners who complete the survey receive the full analysis report.
