Janssen Poland: Back from depression

Janssen, a Belgian pharmaceutical company, drove interest in new anti-depressant medication with a digital and influencer-based campaign that reminded audiences of the devastating effects of depression.

Advertising of medicine in Poland, especially prescription-based ones, is surrounded by numerous limitations – particularly when one wants to reach the patients. In this case, we could neither use the medicine name, nor the name of the active ingredient. Another level of complication is that this medication cannot simply be purchased in a pharmacy for at-home use – Its dosage is complicated and takes a whole day to prepare, meaning it can only be prescribed in 50 medical locations across the whole of the country.
