Summary

In 2018, Belfast was one of the few major UK cities that still lacked a centralised, city-wide transport system.

This held the region back and limited the city's potential to fulfil its Region City Deal objectives.

Translink, Northern Ireland's public transport provider, was charged with changing this with a new bus rapid transit system, to be launched in September 2018.

But wasn't this just a new 'bendy bus'?
