The e-commerce market in Thailand is thriving and the Line Ecosystem is helping sellers grow their business further by listing brands that successfully use the platform’s humanisation features.

Thanks to digitally savvy consumers, Thailand is a thriving market for social commerce. Line Thailand forecasts that the chat commerce industry is expected to grow to THB 1,148 billion in 2028 from THB 462 billion in 2023, with an expected compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 19.2%.

“Thailand currently has 70 million mobile internet users and 54 million are on Line as of November 2023,” says Jirat Watanakarin, Line Thailand’s head of e-commerce growth and strategy.
