Weebles, egg-shaped wooden toys painted with faces to resemble human characters, were created by Playskool, a division of Hasbro, Inc. Playskool, which made a variety of wooden toys for small children, introduced Weebles in the 1960s. From that time onward, the toy has been known by the memorable tag line used in its commercials: "Weebles wobble but they won't fall down."
