Global marketing budgets grow further, with improvement across regions

An overview of findings from WARC’s Global Marketing Index (GMI).

The marketing economy continues to build momentum, according to WARC’s Global Marketing Index (GMI), after global budgets returned to growth in December for the first time in 18 months.

Developed by WARC, the GMI is a monthly indicator of the state of the global marketing industry based on current conditions among practitioners. An index value above 50.0 indicates growth, while below 50.0 suggests a decline. Practitioners who complete the survey receive the full analysis report.
