Global free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) revenue is forecast to triple in the next five years, reaching over $12bn in 2027, according to Omdia. The US will remain the biggest FAST market, followed by the UK and Canada.
The US accounts for just under 90% of the global FAST market at $4bn and is forecast to surpass $10bn by 2027. However, the quickest growth is expected to come outside the US.
