Gen Z’s daily media consumption has decreased since Q1 2021, while Baby Boomers are spending more time on social media, according to the latest GWI social media insights.
Gen Z, still spending more time on social media than their older counterparts, consume an average of two hours and 51 minutes every day globally.
However, they are 30% more likely to worry about the amount of time they spend on social, and they’ve become the least likely generation to describe themselves as “social or outgoing” (37% for Gen Z versus 41% of older generations) per the latest survey. On...
