The generational analysis in this report is based on data from the annual yankelovich MONITOR®survey, the premier study of consumer values, attitudes and lifestyles in America. yankelovich, credited with coining the term “Baby Boomers” in the 1970s, pioneered the concept of generational marketing. Since 1971, our MONITOR study has identified and tracked generational perspectives and their impact on society at large and business in particular.
