FMCG in Thailand: What 2023 will look like

Thailand’s market dynamics have been transformed post-pandemic and with inflation soaring, a Kantar webinar discusses the change in consumer habits and spending, as well as the outlook for the FMCG sector.

The coronavirus pandemic wreaked havoc not just on human life but also on world economies. As countries continue to grapple with the pandemic’s economic after-effects and a looming recession, Kantar Thailand discussed how consumers are dealing with changed market realities.

Chivanon Piyaphiktakskul, Kantar’s senior marketing manager (Thailand and Malaysia), hosted the “2023 Thailand FMCG Outlook” webinar with panellists Kanpapak Lueksuengsukoom, head of new business development, Worldpanel by Kantar, and Chananya Boonyarungsrit, business growth associate director at Kantar Worldpanel.

The duo gave insights into the changing consumer behaviours over the last few years with special emphasis on the post-COVID market recovery.
