Summary

The FCA is responsible for the functioning of UK financial markets and protecting consumers from harm. The FCA had growing concerns about the risk of harm potentially posed to self-directed investors engaging in high-risk, high-return investment types. They wanted to explore the feasibility of a communication campaign aimed at investors and needed to understand – who actually is the audience? And what are their behaviours and drivers?
