Growth in Facebook's advertising revenue has slowed as the company faces challenges with ad targeting and measurement as a result of Apple's recent iOS privacy changes, according to the latest company report. Snapchat reported similar challenges.
Facebook recorded advertising revenue of $28.3bn in Q3 2021, an increase of 33.2% from the previous year. While this is a quicker rate of growth than in 2019 and 2020, it is a significant slowdown from the first six months of 2021.
