This Girl Can, Sport England's much praised and awarded campaign to get women aged between 14 and 40 exercising in some way, successfully changed women's attitudes and behaviours around keeping fit.

Back in 2014, the organisation had identified a gender gap, with 1.79 million fewer women than men exercising regularly and the gap was getting wider despite the best efforts of sports brands, medical experts and investment in facilities.
