L’Oréal Canada, the beauty company, has enjoyed significant benefits from partnering with startups.

A pipeline to hungry beauty tech startups worldwide is helping L’Oréal accelerate digital innovation and stay one well-manicured step ahead of the competition.

Working with digitally-savvy entrepreneurs who “act like there’s no tomorrow”, in fact, stokes the creative fire and drive that big companies like the $36-billion cosmetics giant are sometimes hard-pressed to kindle from within.

“We want to change the market with co-creation and startups,” Martin Aubut, L’Oréal Canada’s chief digital officer, told delegates at the 2018 P2P Summit, an event held by the Path to Purchase Institute.
