Signs of recovery are finally showing for the travel sector in North Asia amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a panel of industry players in a recent webinar hosted by travel community platform Web in Travel.
“It is slowly getting better and better,” said Tidesquare CEO Min Yoon, recalling the “tsunami of cancellations and modified bookings” that the South Korean OTA had to deal with in the past two months.
Fellow panellist Wharf Hotels president Jennifer Cronin vouched that she was “definitely seeing those green shoots appearing for China”.
