For the last 15 years, Jeffrey Cole – Director of the University of Southern California (USC) Annenberg Center for the Digital Future – has been pulling together data from 45 countries to examine the future of entertainment-focused media.

At the same time, he directs the World Internet Project, a long-term longitudinal examination of the effects of computer and internet technology conducted in over 25 countries. He also counsels Microsoft, WPP's GroupM, Ericsson, Sony, Time Warner, AT&T and AARP in their traditional and digital-media strategies.

And, for the last several years, Cole has offered keynote insights at the Annual Leadership Meeting of the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB), giving delegates the comfort and anguish of a third-person perspective on the state of the digital arts.
