How brands can benefit from Guinness World Records

This event report explores how brands have partnered with Guinness World Records to drive engagement and awareness in unconventional ways.

The global record for the most brand logos identified in a minute stands at 42 and was set at Marketing Week Live 2017. This wasn't the only record broken during the two days of the event held in London in March 2017: some 437 marketers also helped set a new record for 'Most contributions to a colour by numbers'.

While such achievements may not be in Usain Bolt territory, they do mean something to the people involved and create a social currency they can share with friends and acquaintances - and that's something brands can tap into.
