How attitudes to gaming changed along with behaviour during the pandemic

People of all ages who were confined to their homes because of pandemic-related lockdowns turned to screens as a link to information and entertainment from the outside world. A European study shows there was a simultaneous surge in the usage of video games.

But the GameTrack tracker study, run by Ipsos MORI, in collaboration with the Interactive Software Federation of Europe (ISFE), revealed much more than a rise in usage.
