Comcast speaks out on voice technology

Comcast, the media company, is exploring the power of voice technology through the use of remote controls that are activated using oral commands.

Voice technology undoubtedly was Comcast's star performer at the 2018 Winter Olympics.

NBC, the broadcast network owned by the Philadelphia-based organization, hosted a cumulative 2,400 hours of coverage on traditional and digital channels during the cold-weather sporting spectacular. And the hub for this material – from skiing and skating to the skeleton bob – was X1, a content platform accessible to subscribers across set-top boxes, smartphones, and tablets alike.
