Budweiser builds an e-commerce business with first-party data and smarter advertising

Budweiser, the beer brand, is ramping up its e-commerce capabilities as more shoppers turn to e-commerce in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the face of the on-going Coronavirus pandemic, Budweiser is finding a new channel for sales and distribution as consumers turn to online retail to keep their refrigerators beer-ready.

“With the fact that people are at home,” reported Steve Arkley, vp/global marketing for Budweiser, which is owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev, “we're seeing an acceleration in e-commerce … and we’re looking for ways in which we can utilize technology to make it easier for people to get our products.”
